The AStA Office for International Advice & Family is the contact point for international students with questions about studying, as well as for students with families.
Combining studies and family responsibilities is a particular challenge. Our Counselor advises and supports students in reconciling family, studies and work in the best possible way. The department also helps foreign students with questions about studying and promotes intercultural exchange. Large areas of work are: Living and working in Germany, support with integration, studying with children, and much more.
Family while studying
At the UdS, it has been possible to study part-time in the Bachelor’s and Master’s programs, but what about the state examination programs? Do you have experience, ideas or need help in this regard? Then get in touch with me!
Even if you have suggestions for events about pregnancy or double burden of children and studies or anything else concerning children and studies, I am very happy about emails or personal contact in my office hours.
In this regard, the department will of course continue to work together with audit familiengerechte hochschule.
