According to the motto "by students for students" we want to offer you a first, free and uncomplicated contact point for legal questions and problems from everyday student life.
However, right at the beginning we would like to point out that we cannot provide professional legal advice and cannot replace the advice of a lawyer.
We are happy to help you with any legal problems you may have with your landlord, your employer or a public authority. If you have problems with your tenancy agreement or have fallen into a so-called "internet trap", then you are at the right address with your questions in the Legal Department.
Often you will receive letters or letters (e.g. from authorities) that are difficult to understand and whose consequences are not immediately obvious to everyone. Even if one still understands the text, possible pitfalls or further consequences are often not immediately apparent. So if you are not sure how to react in such a case, feel free to contact us and we will try to help you with advice and support.
We will also take care of any problems that may arise during your studies (e.g. de-registration or exclusion from examinations and exams). Also in such cases you can contact us and we will try to help you. In these cases, the Department of Law has often acted as a mediator between the examination offices, professors and students.
You need Aid?
So if you are confronted with legal questions to which you do not know the answer, you are welcome to contact us. Please come to our office hours or simply write an e-mail to recht(at)asta.uni-saarland.de
