Chairperson

Our main business is representing the student’s interest in different university boards, towards the university itself and the state of Saarland. Crucial subjects in this legislature are: abolition of administration fees, negotiations for a fair semester ticket and improving the quality of your studies. Furthermore, we want to make our university a place where diversity is lived out daily.

To push through our interests, good and effective PR are essential. Therefore we take care of the AStA’s inner and outer representation in the medias. The aim is to ensure the visibility of the student’s interests and to create an awareness for our needs. This is mostly done by press releases and reunions with the responsible departments on the political and university level. Moreover it is indispensable to guarantee the transparency of our work towards the students by informing them via newsletters, information events, social media or articles in our magazine called “Champus”.
