Publications

In the Publications Department we take care of the publications of the AStA: Champus, AStA-News and Study Guide.

The AStA magazine “champus” follows the motto “By students for students” and has a colourful range of topics. Of course, it also contains information on higher education policy, but also reports on and about studying in particular and in general. Articles on culture and sports also have their place, so that “champus” remains as multi-faceted as possible. The AStA Magazine is published every second month during the lecture period. If you would like to write for “champus”, please contact us at the AStA or by e-mail. Advertisements can also be placed in the champus.

The AStA-News is published weekly during the lecture period. They are available daily during lunch in the refectory and are compiled by us. They contain news for the student body from the student body.

The AStA Study Guide is always published at the beginning of the winter semester and contains everything worth knowing about studying, life and services for new students. It is therefore a very comprehensive work that can be used not only at the beginning of your studies. It is available all year round and is also distributed in the AStA first semester bags. Advertisements can also be placed in the study guide.

The threads come together in our publications department. That means we collect articles, photos and comments, edit and think about the layout. In this way we ensure that AStA-News, Champus and Studienführer appear on schedule. Of course we also write articles ourselves, but it is mainly the students themselves who support us. “From you for you” is the concept – this is especially true for champus – so if you feel like getting involved, writing or capturing stories with your camera (which you can borrow from us without any problems, by the way) or have any other good ideas, please contact us.
