Diesen Dienstag (7. Mai) zeigen wir im Audimax um 19:00 Der Gro\u00dfe Diktator im englischen Original mit Untertiteln \u2013 Charlie Chaplins erster Tonfilm und der \u201evielleicht wichtigste Film, der je produziert wurde\u201c. Vor dem Film k\u00f6nnen wir uns auf einen kurzen Vortrag von Daniel Neugebauer, AStA-Referent f\u00fcr politische Bildung, zur kulturpolitischen Bedeutung von Der Gro\u00dfe Diktator freuen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wie immer gibt es Getr\u00e4nke, Eis und Popcorn \u2013 und einen Eintrittspreis von nur 3 \u20ac, auch f\u00fcr Nichtstudierende.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anton Hynkel ist Der Gro\u00dfe Diktator von Tomanien. Gnadenlos und brutal unterdr\u00fcckt er Juden und strebt nach immer mehr Macht. Doch er wei\u00df nichts von seinem Doppelg\u00e4nger. Ein j\u00fcdischer Friseur (auch Chaplin), der nach einem Flugzeugabsturz im Ersten Weltkrieg sein Ged\u00e4chtnis verloren hat, gleicht ihm bis ins kleinste Detail. Der Friseur ahnt nichts von der Judenverfolgung, weil er von dem Kommandeur Schultz dem er einst das Leben rettete, besch\u00fctzt wird. Gemeinsam und mit dem Gl\u00fcck auf ihrer Seite sagen der Kommandeur und der Friseur dem Diktator den Kampf an.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Und als weiteres Extra d\u00fcrfen wir den Kurzfilm \u201ehoneypot\u201c von Miri Klischat zeigen, der seine Premiere letztes Jahr beim Bundesfestival junger Film in St. Ingbert feierte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This Tuesday (May 7) at 7pm in the Audimax we will be showing The Great Dictator in the original English version with German subtitles \u2014 Charlie Chaplin’s first sound film and \u201cperhaps the most significant film ever produced\u201d. Before the film, we can look forward to a short talk by Daniel Neugebauer, AStA political education referent, on the politico-cultural significance of The Great Dictator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As always, there will be beverages, ice cream and popcorn \u2014 and an admission price of just \u20ac3, even for non-students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adenois Hynkel (Charlie Chaplin in his first \u201ctalkie\u201d) is the Great Dictator of Tomania. He mercilessly and brutally oppresses Jews and strives for more and more power. But he has no idea he has a doppelganger. A Jewish barber (also Chaplin), who has lost his memory after a plane crash in the First World War, resembles him down to the smallest detail. The barber is unaware of the persecution of the Jews because he is protected by the commander Schultz, whose life he once saved. Together and with luck on their side, the commander and the barber declare war on the dictator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And as another treat, we will be showing the short film \u201choneypot\u201d by Miri Klischat, which premiered last year at the Bundesfestival junger Film in St. Ingbert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
