The AStA of Saarland University strongly condemns Putin’s war of aggression on Ukraine. “Our thoughts are with the people in Ukraine and the Ukrainian students who fear for their families. We also stand in solidarity with the Russians who have been taking to the streets for days against this war.”  

The situation of the people in Ukraine is dismaying and we want to provide assistance where we can. We stand in solidarity with the Ukrainian students. Our solidarity also goes to the Russian students and people who do not want this war and who are confronted with a wave of everyday racism here in Germany.

The Studierendenwerk also provides 14 single apartments in the Homburg dormitory C.
